Agile Group Expands Victorian Operations

Written By Agile Group

To meet growing demand for integrated services in the Melbourne and regional Victorian areas, we have opened five new offices and depots across Victoria.

We’re pleased to announce the exciting expansion of our Victorian operations with the opening of five new office and depot locations across Victoria. Joining our existing Victorian offices in Dandenong and Deer Park, we now have new offices and depots opening in Mildura, Horsham, Bendigo, Ballarat and Shepparton, servicing the whole of western regional Victoria, Melbourne and surrounds.

These new offices and depots provide all of our Agile Group integrated services - integrated security, safety and traffic management, logistics, hospitality, event and venue management, equipment and plant hire, and property services (which now also includes land care as well as our existing commercial cleaning.)

We’re really excited to be able to meet the growing demand across the Victoria region, and be able to offer a more localised service to those regional areas.

“Agile Group is continuously growing our national reach and service offerings as we aim to help our clients in more ways - in particular our regional clients, who are typically under-serviced or have limited choice of quality suppliers in their areas.

This means we can help our clients respond to last minute and urgent projects more quickly in regional areas, with a local crew.

But also we’re really pleased about being able to help the regional community too, in particular the Indigenous community, by engaging more local suppliers, and hiring more local employees.

We hope the whole community will be - growing together by working together”
Michael Boyle, Chief Executive | Co-founder

Why Have We Chosen To Expand Across Victoria?

Agile Group already has a national footprint, with head offices in nearly every capital city across Australia, including Victoria. However we have chosen the rapid expansion of our Victorian operations for a number of reasons.

Firstly, we have an existing base of clients in Victoria - such as Vic Roads, Downer, John Holland, BMD & various local councils. However we have seen increasing demand to support clients in regional areas. Therefore as a business we felt a localised office and depot will help us to better service those clients.

Secondly, we have recently been prequalified for traffic management services in Victoria. Prequalification means we have demonstrated we have the experience, technical capacity, available resources and management systems in place to be able to complete roads and infrastructure work for government bodies, including Vic Roads. This means the procurement process for government bodies is made easier because we’ve already been certified as a reliable supplier. The new offices will enable us to help to expand our safety and traffic management operations across Victoria.

Finally, we have an existing relationship and commitment to the Indigenous community across Victoria; and have been working with Kinaway Chamber of Commerce for a number of years. They are a body representing the Victorian Indigenous community, seeking to strengthen business opportunities for Aboriginal people. Agile Group is a Indigenous owned business, and with this we actively seek ways to support the Indigenous community through staffing and procurement.

“We’re pleased to be not only growing as a business, but also strengthening our relationship with the Indigenous and disadvantaged Victorian community by providing more business & long term employment opportunities.”
Dean Faranda, Business Manager,  Victoria & South Australia, Agile Safety & Traffic
